OCEANSIDE BRIDGE FINALLY UNDERWAY

Groundbreaking for the new Pacific Street Bridge was held recently, signalling the start of a project that has only been talked about for several years.
"We wouldn't be involved with this at all if it wasn't for his hard work and dedication," Mayor Wood said, calling on project manager Peter Biniaz.
Biniaz was one of the designers of the 600-foot bridge and was responsible in securing federal funding for the project. Biniaz recently quit his job at the city and now works for the Public Works Department as a consultant and is glad to see the project's transition from design to action.
